Expression of Interest (EOI) for the 2027 grant funding opportunities opens on Monday 2 March 2026.

Shortlisted applicants for the 2027 grants round will be invited to submit Full Grant Applications from 19 May 2026.

The selection process will commence peer reviews between July and September. Applicants will be advised of the Full Grant Application outcome in mid-October 2026.

We recommend you liaise with your organisation’s research administration office before starting your application and carefully read our application guidelines.

Could you help us assess our applications?

We invite suitably qualified researchers to participate in the peer review process for our Annual Grants.

Peer reviews for applications to the 2027 grants round will be sought during July-September 2027.

Enabling grants

Our ‘Enabling Grant’ program exists to support South Australian researchers seeking co-funding support for NHMRC Partnership and ARC Linkage grant applications.

Requests for co-funding may be submitted at any time, using the online submission platform ‘Submittable’. All applications submitted by 31 July each year will be assessed, and outcomes will be announced in September.

Please liaise with your Research Office within your Administering Organisation before submitting your application.
